Y-ME is “Network of Strength”
in the world of Breast Cancer

Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization® marked its 30th anniversary this past Mother’s Day unveiling a new logo and name —Breast Cancer Network of Strength™.  The name has changed, but the Breast Cancer Network of Strength™ remains steadfast in its powerful mission:  To ensure — through information, empowerment and peer support — that no one faces breast cancer alone.

“The goal of our re-branding is to better communicate our mission,” says CEO Margaret C Kirk. “We want to encourage more people touched by breast cancer to take part in programs and services, and truly experience the power of peer support and the immediate emotional relief it provides.”

Hundreds of women enrolled in the Sister Study have cited Breast Cancer Network of Strength as their referral source for joining the study.  We value our national partnership with Breast Cancer Network of Strength and look forward to continuing to work together to reach our goal of recruiting diverse women for the Sister Study.
