Delores Caudle
The Sister Study is proud to announce that our featured volunteer this month is Delores Caudle of Texarkana, Texas. Delores has been a friend, supporter and volunteer of the Sister Study since 2005, tirelessly working with churches and local African American community based organizations to recruit for the study. Delores has also been the Chairwoman of the Breast Health Education and Outreach Committee for the American Cancer Society, one of the Sister Study national partners. Delores takes every opportunity with her many different hats to promote the Sister Study, speak on our behalf in her area, and attend local events such as the recent Race for the Cure in Texarkana. One by one she mobilizes other volunteers and she herself hands out recruitment materials, encouraging eligible women, especially African American women, to take their place in breast cancer research by joining the Sister Study.
