URGENT MESSAGE FOR 2007
This is a Call to Action to all our Sister Study supporters. During
2007, our last recruitment year, we are urgently requesting each
of you or your organization to help us get 5 to 50 women
to enroll in the study. Please strongly encourage eligible
women you know to take their place in this important research! We
want study results to benefit all women in the US and Puerto Rico so minority
and senior women are particularly encouraged to join. Out of 44,656
women currently enrolled, we have many minority and senior women participating — but
we need many more to reach our goal of 50,000:
Currently, we have enrolled —
- 3,778 African American sisters
- 534 American Indian sisters
- 377 Asian sisters
- 1,820 Latina sisters
- 6,140 Senior sisters aged 65-74
