The Sister Study would like to spotlight The Bridge Into The 21st Century, Inc. as a supportive organization, for helping us reach out to many businesses and community leaders working with minority groups in Texas. Ms. Jackie S. Ladapo, Founder and Executive Board Member, along with the rest of the organization’s Board members, became involved in the Sister Study’s recruitment efforts early this year.
The Bridge Into The 21st Century, Inc. is a volunteer non-profit agency dedicated to bringing well-noted businesses and community leaders into visible roles for their programs. Every year this organization gathers professionals and community leaders through ‘a working conference’ that invites discussion and learning about cultural diversity. This year’s conference entitled ‘Diversity the Focus’ is to be held on September 28, 2007 in Dallas, TX where the Sister Study will be highlighted as crucial research which includes minorities. The Bridge Into The 21st Century, Inc. has demonstrated their commitment to the Sister Study by graciously including our information in all of their promotional programs and in their magazine. The Sister Study will be spotlighted during this conference with the intention of encouraging enrollment of more minority women. We salute The Bridge Into The 21st Century, Inc. for their support of breast cancer research and to the community they serve.
